HEIDENHAIN & ACU-RITE – Reliable and Dependable
EEC Ltd recently visited a customer, an engineering company in Wimborne, testing existing installations of Acu-Rite SENC 150 scales and other equipment. The X-axis scale on their Colchester VS2500 lathe required a replacement unit, with all other installations performing without issue. All installations of our Acu-Rite and HEIDENHAIN equipment are 12-15 years old – this being the first issue encountered during this period of time.
We tested 4 manual machines, 3 x lathes, & 1 x milling machine, fitted with the older Acu-Rite VUE and DRO 200S displays.

EEC used the latest Heidenhain official testing equipment PWM 21 with ATS laptop software to check the TTL signal from the linear scales.
