Rapid Response Aerospace Machining, Diagnoses and Repair, in Poole.

We recently visited a long-standing aerospace machining customer in Poole, with a number of different Unisign CNC machining models. Engineering Equipment Centre Ltd (EEC Ltd) received an urgent call and made a rapid-response call-out and investigation into misreading errors on the Siemens control unit.

EEC Ltd carried out substantial and immediate work on-site, including repair, refurbishment, and service of a 4 meter Heidenhain LB 382C linear scale, fitted to the X-axis of a Unisign Unipro 5P 5 axis CNC machining centre. The machine is fitted with Heidenhain encoders on all 5 axis and the spindle, coupled up with Siemens drives, motors, and control.
